CHARGED WITH CORRUPTION OF MINORS. OFF. JAMES V. BOWSER INVESTIGATED THE CASE
INVOLVING A JUVENILE WHO RECEIVED SEXUALLY EXPLICIT E-MAILS FROM MS. BUTTORFF’S
WORK COMPUTER LOCATED AT HER EMPLOYMENT IN BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD . AFTER BEING
ARRESTED, MS. BUTTORFF WAS
TRANSPORTED TO CENTRAL BOOKING, PROCESSED AND ARRAIGNED. October 10, 2008: OFFICER HILLIARD OF THE STEWARTSTOWN

INVESTIGATED A CHECK THAT HAD BEEN DEPOSITED IN A
MARYLAND BANK, BELONGING TO ADIO CHIROPRACTOR LOCATED IN STEWARTSTOWN, PA.
FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY OFF. HILLIARD REVEALED
THAT A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF ADIO CHIROPRACTOR, MS. DIANE TORRES, OPENED AN ACCOUNT
AT THE SAME MARYLAND BANK LISTED ABOVE
IN THE NAME OF ADIO CHIROPRACTOR USING HER HOME
ADDRESS AND PERSONAL INFORMATION AS THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY.
FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY OFFICER HILLIARD REVEALED
A LARGE NUMBER OF CHECKS WERE STOLEN BY MS. TORRES FROM THE CHIROPRACTIC
BUSINESS WHILE BEING EMPLOYED. THESE CHECKS WERE DEPOSITED BY MS. TORRES IN THE
MARYLAND BANK THEN TRANSFERRED TO HER PERSONAL ACCOUNT. THE AMOUNT OF CHECKS
STOLEN BY MS. TORRES, WERE IN EXCESS OF $18,000.00. ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2008 AT APPROX. 1850 HRS., OFFICER

Vehicle was described as a green van with a male driver. Complainant advised to call 911 immediately if seen again. March 5, 2008, 2:42 p.m. Suspect flees and eludes officer which resulted in the driver losing control of their vehicle and crashing in a field in the area of 6720 Pleasant Valley Rd.
